Ország Lili Stúdió
120 minutes 1 intermission
This is a very sensitive show with a lot of humour about the extraordinary friendship of grandmother and grandson, and about whether you are 11 or 78, it’s never too late to play.
In his books, David Walliams, a British contemporary writer describes important social-human questions, such as exclusion, being an outcast, and how to deal with differences. In this story, the protagonists are a seemingly boring, lonely old lady, and her 11 years old grandson, Ben, whose self-confidence is quite low. He is forced to spend every Friday night at his Granny’s, which is boring and the two of them just can’t relate to each other. But one day Ben discovers something rather stange: his Granny hides diamonds in a biscuit box! Might se be something different than she seems?
This is a very sensitive show with a lot of humour about the extraordinary friendship of grandmother and grandson, and about whether you are 11 or 78, it’s never too late to play.
