The Baby Fox books by Judit Kiss Ágnes Kiss have been a huge hit with preschool children and their parents in recent years. The stories are about the extraordinary everyday life of a family of foxes, endowed with human qualities. Their protagonist, Baby Fox, is three years old at the beginning of the story and is about to start kindergarten (or, as the Foxes say, puppy care).

The stories are about the extraordinary everyday life of a family of foxes, endowed with human qualities. Their protagonist, Baby Fox, is three years old at the beginning of the story and is about to start kindergarten (or, as the Foxes say, puppy care). What will it be like to spend all day at the puppy care without Mommy Fox? Will Baby Fox have any friends? How do you even make friends? The charming and humorous stories all revolve around a familiar conflict and how to resolve it: anxiety in a new place, playing with older children, tantrums in the shop, family friction, moving house, the birth of a baby brother or sister. The tale takes the simple yet complex issues of toddlerhood seriously, while showing how the world slowly opens up to a little one.
